Jesus and Moses

Pastor Tony Buford begins the study of Hebrews Chapter 3 by brining four important points to our attention:
1. Chapter 2 has an implicit reference to Moses leading His people to glory. As Moses voluntarily left his high position in Pharaohs’ court so Christ voluntarily left His heavenly court to lead His people to glory
2. The Books of Moses include the Levitical law
3. Moses is associated with the laws to which the first reader of the leters to the Hebrews was directed.
4. Moses is introduced in the text because of his faithfulness, just as to a much greater degree Christ was faithful
