Loving Your In-laws
Series The Gospel of Mark
134
Peter is an example of how we should treat our in-laws. Peter loved his mother-in-law and let her live with him. Why are in-laws relationships often so sour? We'll address this problem. We also address the duty that adult children have to care for their aging parents, instead of automatically sending them to nursing homes. Peter's mother-in-law was also a good example. When she was healed, she served others. Some people are healed in vain. When they get better physically, they simply return to the worldly self-serving life they were living before. When we are sick, we should ask ourselves, "Why do I want to be healed?"
