KING ASA, son King Abijah, grandson of Rehoboam, and great grandson of King Solomon.
STARTED OUT WELL when he became king. This is because King Asa walked with God.

But years later, when faced with a challenge from Baasha, king of Israel, King Asa did not stop to pray. King Asa did not cry out to God for help.

God allowed this test to King Asa.
