A Life Framed Around God

Sermon text - from Hosea 5:4 - They will not frame their doings to turn unto their God: for the spirit of whoredoms is in the midst of them, and they have not known the Lord.

The prophet Hosea confronts the people over their sin. He had a challenging ministry, as he not only had to convince the people of their neglect towards their God with words, but also with action.

He was to marry a whore of their whoredoms, in demonstrating how the people had spiritually gone astray from the Lord God who they were bound to by covenant. They treated the Lord God like an unfaithful spouse, who repeatably forgot & broke their covenant of marriage with God.

If they would not repent and frame their life around their Maker and turn from their sin again to God, they would be in danger of God with drawing Himself from them.
