Lust, Temptation, Sin, Death

Maine Point: Don’t blame God; blame yourself: turn to Christ.
Outline:

1. God’s tests can become your temptations (vs. 13a)
2. There is a linkage between being tempted and tempting others, but not for God (vs. 13b).
3. But your lusts seduce you and drag you away (vs. 14)
4. Take care; lust gives birth to sin that leads to death (vs. 15).
5. So don’t be deceived but blame yourself for your sin (vs. 16, 13).
6. Turn to Christ who was tested for you but did not fall into temptation (Heb. 2:18. 4:15).
