Blessed are the Poor in Spirit

From the outset of Christ's sermon we see how vastly different the subjects of the kingdom of heaven are to be from those that are of the world. The difference is so great that nothing short of a new birth will bring a sinner into the kingdom of heaven. In this study we begin to study those differences by noting the contrast between being poor in spirit or being righteous in our own eyes.
