The Reason Jesus Is Our Only Hope

The theme of these nine verses is that Jesus was the only way for God to make you what He wanted because:

• God's purpose in creation was to bring many sons and daughters to glory.
• God planned to bring many sons and daughters to glory in order to display the glory of His mercy and love.
• In order to bring many sons and daughters to glory, it was fitting that God's perfect Son had to be made man's perfect Savior through suffering.
• Only Jesus can save you from death and slavery to sin.
• Only Jesus can help you overcome temptation.
