Marriage and Crisis

Influenced by their pagan backgrounds, many of the Corinthians had very warped ideas about marriage and sexuality. Paul writes to correct them, and to call them to recognise the reality that God made us body and soul. In view of a crisis, he warns about too readily marrying, yet recognises again that marriage is good and necessary.
