Worthy Songs of a Worthy God

When the body of Christ is filled with the Spirit, we will "address one another in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with our heart." While Paul’s language suggests a broad range of songs appropriate for corporate worship, they are all God centered, God glorifying, doctrinally sound and theologically rich. This is confirmed by the Old Testament Psalms and the fragments of hymns found in the New Testament. We should sing songs that are worthy of our God.
