Picking Up A Coin

Everyone is rejoicing except the Pharisees, who are murmuring. What is real joy? We need to get joy about what Jesus gets joy about.
Luke 15:8 Why a woman? What if it pictures the church? She's been given the opportunity to help the "lost" coin, and she was working to find it. Everyone has a job in the church!
She's not working in the dark. She had illumination. A church that is busy working without the power of God is a church that will never be effective. You will waste your time if you are not filled with the spirit of God.
