Justice and Mercy

The Lord has dealt with Job, bringing him to repentance and humility, now He turns His attention to the three friends. They have not spoken rightly about God. But the Lord offers mercy, through Job's sacrifice offered on their behalf. In this way God shows that Job was not punished for sin as they had implied. They received mercy and must learn mercy as well.
