The Transforming Power of God

In this passage, we see how God begins the process of transformation in the life of a person so that they can be used effectively for God. God takes a man, Gideon, who was defeated and inadequate for the task and begins transforming him for effective service. God desires to do the same things in our lives so that we might be effective for him in our homes, schools, places of employment, neighborhoods, etc.
