Hagar and Ishmael; Sarah and Isaac

First, when Paul deals with the history of Sarah, Hagar, Isaac, and Ishmael allegorically, he tells us he is doing so. Second, Galatians 4:21-31 does not contrast the covenant of works with the covenant of grace. Paul contrasts people who place themselves under the Law as a covenant of works with those who trust the promise of God.
