The Fragrance of Your Good Ointments

These good ointments represent the manifold graces of the Holy Spirit, which minister to the believer's spiritual life in various ways, but they all come to him as a result of the grace of Christ. They are called, "His good ointments", because all of the various graces of the Holy Spirit come to the believer because Christ was anointed above his fellows (above all other men) with grace to accomplish salvation on their behalf.
