The Subversion of Holiness- 2 Samuel 11:4-7

The closing aspect of the fruit of the Spirit is self- mastery, Gal 5:22. We might call it the keeper of the uni-basket. Passion is that impulse that arises in us, demanding to be satisfied, contrary to controlling ourselves under God's rule. The battle can't be avoided, but losing the battle can.
