In this second message on Isaiah 6, we have Isaiah's call and commission. God commissions the prophet to preach to an unperceptive audience in order to harden them and confirm them for judgment.

Even though a remnant of true believers is present, the house of Judah will not be spared.

When all is gone, a stump is left, the holy seed (see 11:1), who will build a new house–the church, consisting of believers from all nations.
