When the Lord Jesus said, "I will not leave you orphans but I will come to you..." What event was he exactly referring to? Was he referring to His return to His disciples only three days after His resurrection? Was He referring to the outpouring of His Holy Spirit He would place on them only 50 days after His resurrection? Or was He referring to His return for them and us at the end of the age? Or could it be that He had all three moments in His view?
