More on the Millennium Pt. 2, Christ's Second Coming Destroys All His Enemies
Series The Revelation
More on the Millennium continued. We continue with a "parenthesis" in Revelation 20 to study the millennium from an a-millennial or "realized millennial" interpretation, by use of excerpts mainly from Jay Adams' book, The Time is At Hand. Tonight, we particularly look at a comparison of Revelation 20 with 2 Thessalonians 2 to see how Christ's Second Coming does not usher in a millennium where non-Christians or Satan or death can dwell, but rather ushers out the [present] millennium with the total and final destruction of the kingdom of hell, death, and unbelievers by the consummation of His Heavenly Kingdom. There will be no delay for a second chance to repent and be saved for anyone not in Christ before He comes. Now is the day of salvation, and the Last Day is the day of final and complete destruction of all Christ's and our enemies from the face of the earth so that Revelation 21 begins for eternity. We close with another very important text to use to properly interpret Revelation 20 and the millennium (rather than the other way around), Luke 17:27-33, especially verse 30.
