Selective Memory

During the first segment of the program today I will speak with Mindy Belz - Editor of World Magazine about a couple of important issues facing our nation - one is the Benghazi and the other is the IRS Scandals. One common thread that runs between both of these stories is the selective memory of those involved.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is famous now for saying during one of the hearings, "What does it matter at this point!" In the IRS Scandal the White House said they did not know about this issue until the new reports broke the story, however they then said they did know earlier after all.

This weekend is an event that is specifically related to the idea of Remembrance. Memorial Day is specifically designed to remind the American People of the sacrifice and service of our military personal.

All of this begs the question, "How important is Remembrance?" It is quite remarkable just how often the Bible speaks the importance to remember. On the second half of the program today, I will speak about the subject of the remembrance of the redeemed.
