Under his shade
His Banner over her: Love

III.Her DESIRE for him: v5-6
Weak from love
Longing for physical intimacy

IV.Her SELF-CONTROL to remain pure for him
Do not awaken love until its time

1.Sexual longings are good during courtship

2.Sexual activity must be deferred for the treasure ahead

3.The man is to be the Protector

4.He reflects Jesus in that role
“His Banner over me is Love”

5.We are in the time of longing for Jesus
The Church is to keep herself pure for Him (II Cor 11:2-3)
