Taking the Lord's Name in Vain

God's name is hallow wether we recognize it or not. Those that are truely hallowing God's name have set themselves apart and reverence His name. Just because we don't cry out His name in anger and profane it, is not to say that we still yet prevent ourselves from using it in vain. Are we taking the name of God lightly? Though we abstain from taking the Lord's name in vain, is our life being lived in vain acomplishing nothing for the Lord?
