Who are the Church?

• The church is a body of people that belongs to Christ
• The church is God's greatest showpiece
• The church is God's family, God's household
• Where did these 'special people' come from?

1. Word and Worship
   a) Word as foundation
   b) Worship as our great work

2. Prayse and Care
   a) Prayer with and for each other

   • Prayer in Paul's letters
   • Prayser in the early church in Acts
     b) Care for each other
   • How can we provide such care - 1 Thess 5:14, Heb 3:14

3. Grow and Go
   a) Grow in holiness
   b) Go to others with the gospel
