Prepare for War: The Enemy is Coming

The level of temptation that Satan brings against us is not steady. It comes in waves. It comes at strategic moments. We know this from our life experiences. There are times when it's easier to follow God and when it's harder. We know that there are moments when the company we keep is helpful and influential in our quest to follow the Lord; there are other times when they seem to do everything possible to oppose us and to bring temptation to bear on our lives. Not every day is the same but we are to make the best use of every day because the days are evil; prepare for the worst because there will come a day in which it requires greater fortitude to resist him. We should make the best use of the time, because the days are evil, in preparation for a particular moment when that temptation is going to be really really strong and you need to be ready.
