The Spirit's Witness and Work

How can we witness to a hostile world and bear up under increasing persecution without responding in anger but instead bearing witness in love? How can we expect to see fruit from our witness in a hostile, anti-Christian culture? How can we grow in knowledge annd understanding, so we're equipped to witness well? We need the Holy Spirit!
