Jesus: Before Abraham Was, I Am

The passage is loaded with declarations by the Lord Jesus Christ. He declared Himself to be: the Lawgiver, the Mercy Seat, the High Priest and the Great I Am. Saying, "Before Abraham was, I Am", Jesus showed Himself to be the very One who spoke to Moses, the I AM, the self-existent One. This couldn't be true if He were less than God. Jesus is "the fullness of the Godhead bodily" (Colossians 2:9).
