Men Who Suppress the Truth

Spiritual conflict is more than one idea against another. False notions of God and truth are held and forwarded by men. They "hold" or suppress the truth. Hearing God's sovereignty in election, Christ's definite redemption or the Spirit's effectual call, they reject and suppress it. Moreover, when they hear of righteousness imputed in conjunction with the cross, they suppress it. That's "unrighteousness".
