Grace Until Christ Appears

The apostle spoke of two appearances by Christ. He appeared the first time in the flesh to put away sin by Himself. So effectual was He in behalf of all the Father gave Him, that He declared this work "finished". Next, Christ will appear at the end of this age. Believers look in both direction: at His first coming and His second coming.
