Grace Renews

New Birth or "regeneration" is the Holy Spirit's awakening. It's a sovereign, secret, immediate and life-giving act. It's followed by the daily "renewing of the Holy Spirit". At the Cross, Christ saved His elect from their sin. Daily the Spirit saves them from their native ignorance and religious blindness. Christ finished His work at the Cross. The Spirit's work will endure till Christ returns.
