It’s one thing to learn how to do something. It’s another thing actually to do it. In Paul’s theology, he always teaches. But then he always tells us what we need to do as a result of that teaching. As we transition from the first (introductory) section of 1 Corinthians, Paul begins to introduce the fact that the believers in Corinth were to act on what they received from him. The Corinthian Christians loved words! But would they do anything with them?
