Behold, a Sower

In one sense, this is among the easiest of Christ's parables to understand, and that would probably be the case even if he hadn't interpreted it for us. But this passage includes a few verses that are among the most difficult of Christ's words to understand: "And He said to them, 'To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables, so that 'Seeing they may see and not perceive, And hearing they may hear and not understand: Lest they should turn, and their sins be forgiven them.'"

For the pastor, the temptation is to skip over these verses, but in this message, they are considered.

He that has ears to hear, let him hear.
