the age we presently live in, the Word of God is taken out into the uttermost parts of the earth by those who are sent into the harvest by the Lord of the harvest. In the Old Testament God purposed to so bless the children of Israel that many aliens would come into Israel and there learn of, and come to know the God of Israel. God provided in every way for the alien to be welcomed and accepted in Israel. Ruth the Moabitess, Uriah the Hittite, Rahab the harlot, Ittai the Gittite are examples of this provision of God. Exposure to the wonderful promises God made to Israel and the rituals He established, greeted the one who came to God of Israel to learn of Him. These revealed the reality and glory of the Gospel to them.
