A4. God is spirit, infinite, eternal, and unchangeable in His being, wisdom, power, holiness, justice, goodness, and truth.
"Goodness" in Exodus 34:6 is translated "mercy" in Exodus 34:7. It is the Hebrew word, Chesed, which properly expresses the infinite and unchangeable mercy of God.
