A Christ Centered Christianity

We cannot do what the Hebrew christians were doing and wanting to do; give up the substance of their faith for the form. It is so easy for us to put off the substance and rely on just the form. We have to have both offering up ourselves as living sacrifices; taking up our cross daily and putting to death the old man. This is a militant view of christianity. A Christ-centered view of christianity. He must increase, must decrease.

Militant Christianity starts in the heart because we are at war with sin. We are called to be militant in our faith in rooting out the sin in our hearts. Our faith must be Christ centered. Just because we go to church, teach our children to pray the Lord's Prayer, memorize scripture, etc doesn't automatically make us Christian or Christ-centered.
