1037 He Is Still Coming Back Pt-4

109

At Christmas time children rarely if ever consider how their parents feel about this most special time of year. Why they buy them presents, why all the secrecy surrounding gift giving and why they build all the mystery about what's in the packages. Some even go so far as to carefully open them, sneak peeks and re-wrap them to satisfy their insatiable curiosity. Not realizing how badly they have damaged the element of surprise for themselves. If the parents discover their selfish secret the excitement of anticipation for the parents changes to extreme disappointment. No doubt very few children would wish to do such damage to their parents.
In this short example the problem isn't in the action, it's in the selfishness that brought about the action. We as God's children have the same problem we don't think about why God does things like He does or how He will benefit from the way He has chosen to rapture the saints. In this message the focus is on how God feels about this coming spectacular event.
