The Christian life is both ethical/obedient and beautiful/attractive. We are not called to be "right" at the expense of being obnoxious, judgmental, self-righteous jerks. And we're not called to pursue the acceptance of the world at the expense of true holiness. The Gospel calls us to live lives that are beautiful both to God and to those who need God.
