Feeling God's Joy in Prayer

Why does prayer seem like such a chore and a bore instead of a joy at times?

What do we see emphasized in Paul’s prayer that will help us to be energized in ours?

Faith in God – you have to believe in providence.

Hope for life – you have to believe in progress.

Love for people – you have to believe in perseverance.

There are always problems, pain, persecution, poverty, and prison, because we are always dealing with people. There are always a lot of obstacles and a lot of opponents. But there is always Jesus, and so we can always pray with joy even when praying through and for problems.
