The Sin of Accessorizing

The subtle downgrade. Of worldliness is so imperceptible that we must guard against making God an accessory.

1. We have made God an accessory when we take Him from where He has manifested Himself and put Him where we want Him to be.

2. We have made God an accessory when he is no longer seen as the primary source of provision, but only an insurance policy.

3. We have made God an accessory when we ignore the obvious facts that highlight our error and pretend nothing has changed.
