Destruction of the Foundations

• The Bible contains Four primary Foundations

1. If the Foundations of heaven and earth are destroyed what can the righteous do? (2 Samuel 22:8).
2. If the Foundation of God's structure is destroyed, what can the righteous do? The foundations in this case refer to His angelic order—the sons of God (Psalm 82:5-7)

• God created everything perfect including Satan and all the angels that followed him into sin (Isaiah 14:4-17; Ezekiel 28:13-17)

3. The Foundation of the Church and Christian life (1 Corinthians 3:11)
4. The Foundation of the sealing of Christians (2 Timothy 2:19)
   • Obedience to God's word is like building upon a foundation of rock (Luke 6:46-49)
   • Christ's church is built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Jesus as the chief corner stone. (Ephesians 2:19-22)
