Provisions and Concessions

We returned to our series in Ezra. We have come to chapter 7. In this chapter, Artaxerxes provides for Ezra and the returned exiles surprising concessions and blessings. We are commanded in Scripture to pray for those in authority and although we may be pessimistic about good coming from those in such positions, we were reminded from Ezra 7 how the Lord reigns supreme. The Lord is able to do exceeding abundently above all that we could ever ask or think.
