Be A Trusted Servant of Christ

Sermon Point: Always be a servant Christ can trust.

Sermon Outline:

1. Jesus performed signs not recorded by John and many believed in Him (23, 20:30-31).
2. But, knowing their hearts, Jesus did not entrust Himself to them (24-25)
3. Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews and entrusted with the oracles of God, believed His signs (3:1-2)
4. Even though He had the Scriptures and saw the signs, Jesus told Nicodemus He was blind (3:3)
5. Nicodemus was blind because he needed a new heart (3:3)
6. Only then could he trust Christ as King and could Christ trust him (3:3)
   Conclusion: Always be a servant Christ can trust.
