Moses and the Prophets

Peter took the amazement of the people seeing the healing of the lame beggar as an excuse to preach. And what does he preach? "You killed the Author of life!" He calls his listeners to repentance, citing Moses and the prophets, and his message adds another two thousand to the newborn Christian church that day.
Peter's call to them is his call to us: "Repent!".
