Mohammed and the Rise of Islam

Shortly after the death of Justinian, Mohammed was born in Mecca. Gene gives an overview about the life of Mohammed and the rise of Islam. While by no mean exhaustive, Gene attempts to hit the major milestones and important points that led up to Mohammed evangelizing in Arabia about the One True Faith of Islam. He believed Islam was the true form of religion following the One True God supplanting Judaism and Christianity which had gone astray.

Within 80 years of the death of Mohammed, those Arab tribes conquered most of what had been the Roman Empire under Justinian.
