A Gospel Church

Having been filled with the Holy Spirit, these disciples begin to declare the wonderful works of God. The pinnacle work of God is redemption, and so these disciples as will become evidently clear are preaching Jesus Christ. Christ is the centre of their declaration. The response to the preaching of Christ was confusion, amazement, ridicule and belief. The same is true today. We praise God that the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is as powerful today as it was at Pentecost - it is the power of God!
