The Resurrection Ark of Salvation

The Apostle Peter wrote this letter to believers who were suffering persecution and he exhorts them to endure suffering with the same mindset that the Lord Jesus had. This passage covers the whole gospel: Christ's death, resurrection, burial, and ascension. Even the importance of believer's baptism is here - it is an "enacted prayer" for salvation. The difficult but important subject of where Jesus went between his death on the cross and his resurrection is also dealt with in this sermon.
