Alive but Dead

Jesus Christ knew everything about the Church in Sardis, as He does about all churches and individuals. He warned this church that He expects it to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit and be alive in Him; rather than just going through religious motions and being dead on the inside. He commands the church at Sardis, and all of the churches that comprise His body, specifically of what it is to do, the penalty for non-compliance, and the reward for the remnant in the church who obey.
