The Word that Makes the Music

This sermon was given during the “Psalms from Tenth” event of the Tenth Music series (www.tenth.org/music).

Dr. Ryken exposes Psalm 33 and explains the proper view of music in the worship of God.

He shows us how music must be used for praise of God, skillfully performed with thanksgiving by illustrating the point using this and other passages dealing with music in worship and historical examples. He also explains how the praise of God in music is intended to communicate the truth of God's Word and impress it on our hearts.
