Back to Bethel (Again)

Geographical places in the Bible are often invested with significance beyond their mere geography. Such becomes the case for Jacob with the town of Bethel. Bethel was the place where God first met with him, and where he promised to come back and worship. His journey to Bethel becomes a spiritual pilgrimage which has far-reaching implications for all of us.
