Christ is Lord of Dead and Living
647
"For to this end Christ died and rose again, that HE might be LORD both of the dead and the living."
This is another of Barnard's great sermons on THE LORDSHIP OF CHRIST, a subject he delighted to preach — for Bro. Barnard felt (as many other faithful men of God have emphasized) that until the sinner bows to Christ as LORD, there is no salvation in simply "accepting Jesus as Saviour."
The Saving Grace of God's exalted Son is only found in His Lordship, His Kingship, His occupying of a Mediatorial Throne. When you come to Jesus, you turn your life over to HIS AUTHORITY for time and eternity. Have you done it?
