All Things in Christ

In our text, Paul reminds us, declares to us in joyous terms that there is a purpose to history, an end to which all of created reality is moving. He proclaims that God is moving all of time and space, that He is uniting, reconciling and summing up all things in Jesus Christ. The One whose coming split history in half is the One in whom history and all created reality will find their reconciliation and fulfillment.
