The Deadly Tongue

James has said in chapter 2 of his epistle that faith without works is dead, meaning that true saving faith always shows itself by its fruit. One such fruit is mentioned in James 3 where the tongue is seen as an untameable item that is so small but causes such great damage. We are to bless with the tongue not curse with it.
